This day in history - May 3rd


1808 – Peninsular War: The Madrid rebels who rose up on May 2 are fired upon near Príncipe Pío hill.

This is a famous picture. You think I'd remember why considering we studied the bag outta this picture in my art class last semester. But like math, art vocabulary, and every episode of The Hills - it goes through one ear and out the other without thinking twice. Here's what I remember off my head - the soliders are ruthless, the guy on the ground is dead, and I ended up doing my art mobs project on the picture below instead.....
