SPEEEEDIN

AquaView- Sir Richard Branson billionaire Entrepreneur, recently showed yet again his extravagant side with the unveiling of his new aero submarine christened the “Necker Nymph” which is unlike anything else in the world. Branson, who already owns a mobile phone company, a record label, an airline, a Caribbean island, space travel and a handful of luxury restaurants just added one more frontier to his portfolio- The Sea!

The 3-seater submersible built in the likeness of a fighter plane, uses the same principles of flight through air underwater. The Necker Nymph that runs on battery that’s so quiet it just glides through the water with very low noise emissions and low light to avoid interfering with fragile ecosystems. It has an open cockpit and passengers use scuba gear, stored in the craft which can dive to depths of up to 130ft. The unique submersible cost around 415,000 British pounds and the billionaire has lofty aspirations to eventually create a plane that explore depths of 35,000 feet. Designed by Hawkes Ocean Technologies, the Necker Nymph is the first underwater plane to ever be designed and an entirely new class of vehicle.

Man this Branson guy knows how to throw money around on awesome shit. I want a space plane and a underwater speedin whip. Guess I'll just have to work even harder on this blog. Or you could donate. Or I could rob you - either way is ok with me, maybe not so much with you.

Or you could watch some of my full length feature films.....Granted whatever Branson makes it's gonna be awesome. Like the "Deep Search".

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

Awesomest Thing Ever

The Most Awesomest Thing Ever
by That Kid

While stumbling through the internet drunk, my staggering internet feet eventually led me to the website: http://www.mostawesomestthingever.com./

The website claims to be on a quest to discover the “most awesomest thing ever” through a series of user-based battles. There’s no need to sign up or even turn your brain on at any time, all you have to do is go to the site and within one minute you’ll be presented your first head to head battle, where you choose whichever person, place, or thing you think is the more awesome of the two, and then after you choose it will show you the stats on that particular item, and how awesome it is compared to the rest of the choices, as well as its win-loss ratio.

With all that said, the choices and battle combination’s for this site are about as ridiculous as this entire concept all together, for instance, the first battle I got was between a cough, and the Ikea soundtrack staple Ace of Base. After thirty minutes of complete idiotic system shutdown, my brain eventually managed to reboot itself and to avoid any further injury chose Ace of Base just to move along, and in no way to suggest that Ace of Base is any less capable of pissing me off then coughing, just that as much as they try, Ace of Base can never physically hurt me. After this first battle I figured it would be interesting to start recording some of the ridiculous battles, as well as bullshit stats that went along with things way too low on the list, enjoi.

Ed Gein
vs.
Plinko
(315th most awesome)
The man who influenced the characters in Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Silence of the Lambs, or the zero strategy game from The Price is Right. I went with Plinko because in no way could Plinko influence something that would freak me out.

DVD decrypter
(373 rd)
vs.
Nextel
~ ~ ~
Flo Rida
(973 rd)
vs.
Pirate’s Booty
This was a tough one. Although they’re both delicious, I’m basing this off of something completely unrelated to taste. You may have heard in the news a couple of years ago Pirate’s Booty got in trouble for mis-labeling their nutritional facts, angering tons of land dwelling manatees and pissing me off with their constant bitching about how Pirate’s Booty caused them to get fat (and not all that no-exercise and daily pints of Haagen-Dazs)
Flo Rida gets the win because although Pirate’s Booty is delicious, Flo Rida has never been accused of turning fat girls fat (but definitely Phat).

~ ~ ~
Boy Scouts of America
(877 th)
vs.
Matthew McConaughey
God damn it, this site is absolutely not the most awesomest thing ever. I cannot bring myself to choose Matthew however you spell his last name. I’m going to base this battle going by if this list was Not Least Useful People on Earth, Boy Scouts can tie knots and light fires and junk, Matthew McConaughey only succeeds in pissing me off.

~ ~ ~
War in Afghanistan

vs.

"Into the Blue"
The problem with the War in Afghanistan is the lack of Jessica Alba’s ass. The problem with Into the Blue is the lack of Paul Walker being used as target practice by soldiers from the War in Afghanistan.

The real winner here is all of us because of Jessica Alba’s ass.

Murphy Brown vs. Booger…haha, “booger” BOOGER WINS

While I’ve never tried crack, I’m almost certain:

“Hey guys, I just got into crack”
would go over a whole lot better than,
“Hey guys, I just got into Figure Skating.”

*Sauerkraut

Sauerkraut vs. a Sour Kraut. Fuck Glenn Beck.

I can’t drown or get eaten by sharks watching Space Jam. Unfortunately when I saw MJ play the Knicks when I was a kid I was within creeping me the fuck out distance of Dennis Rodman.

~ ~ ~
*Bloodsport
(490th)

vs.

Coaster
(not a roller coaster, the kind you put your drink on)
This easily could have been one of the most one-sided of the battles. When you think of a coaster, all you can picture is your annoying friend he keeps reminding you to use one because that’s why they’re there and he doesn’t want a ring on his table.

When you think of bloodsport, you do a splitkick in the air kicking your friend in the face and then break a brick, no, not that one on top, the one in the middle…KUMITE!

~ ~ ~

Dear John letter
vs.
*Reptilian Humanoid
(131st)

Then about a week later, right out of the blue, she sends me a John Deere letter. I called her up and she gave me some crap about me not listening to her enough or something like that. I wasn't really paying attention. With that being said REPTILIAN HUMANOID!

~ ~ ~

Star Trek
vs.
*the Theory of Relativity
Star Trek claims they can hit warp speed and that Scotty can beam people up.

Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity tells Star Trek to shut the fuck up.

~ ~ ~

*Ninja’s
(11th!)
vs.
Katy Perry
Unfortunately this isn’t who would you do, because Katy Perry’s got a couple of Japanese Islands I wouldn’t mind dropping bombs all over.

~ ~ ~

*The Ability to Walk
(63rd)
vs.
A Hug
Aww, can’t walk? How about a hug? Will that make you feel better?

I could do this all day because the ridiculousness just keeps coming, but I’m le tired.

When Heidi Watney speaks, we almost listen.

I’m in the café a little while ago, eating lunch by myself like fucking Peter Glandsberg. As I’m walking across the café to my seat I look over to the giant television screen where NESN is on. Don’t ask me what show it was but the screen went from old Red Sox stock footage to Heidi Watney.

I’m no stranger to her beauty and overall bang-ability as she has been the picture in our drink coasters at home since September. What strikes me the most about Heidi Watney is her ability to stop a viewing audience in their tracks. Sitting in the café also was a couple of Hispanic cooks who were either on their lunch break or didn’t give a shit.

The same wave of speechless-ness washed simultaneously over Pablo and myself when Heidi’s face popped up.

Miss Watney right then and there had bridged a cultural divide bringing together a young adolescent Caucasian male and two middle aged Hispanics with one medium shot of her in a green dress.

When Heidi Watney speaks, we almost listen.

Watching a sox game with the roommates (mostly just Dave because Chris is busy) Heidi Watney is bound to have face time on more than several occasions. When the camera cuts to Heidi somewhere in the stands reporting; before her name is even displayed on the lower third graphic every warm-blooded American male lets out an audible moan of just pure excitement and arousal.

I haven’t felt this way about a woman on my television screen since my Alex Mac days.

One ticket to Blackout City

NatGeo -Like part of a cosmic Russian doll, our universe may be nested inside a black hole that is itself part of a larger universe. In turn, all the black holes found so far in our universe—from the microscopic to the supermassive—may be doorways into alternate realities. According to a mind-bending new theory, a black hole is actually a tunnel between universes—a type of wormhole. The matter the black hole attracts doesn't collapse into a single point, as has been predicted, but rather gushes out a "white hole" at the other end of the black one, the theory goes.
In a recent paper published in the journal Physics Letters B, Indiana University physicist Nikodem Poplawski presents new mathematical models of the spiraling motion of matter falling into a black hole. His equations suggest such wormholes are viable alternatives to the "space-time singularities" that Albert Einstein predicted to be at the centers of black holes. According to Einstein's equations for general relativity, singularities are created whenever matter in a given region gets too dense, as would happen at the ultradense heart of a black hole. Einstein's theory suggests singularities take up no space, are infinitely dense, and are infinitely hot—a concept supported by numerous lines of indirect evidence but still so outlandish that many scientists find it hard to accept.

If Poplawski is correct, they may no longer have to.

According to the new equations, the matter black holes absorb and seemingly destroy is actually expelled and becomes the building blocks for galaxies, stars, and planets in another reality

Well fuckin' A dude!

Just when I was feeling like I was ontop of the world today I go ahead and read this. As if my mind wasn't still all screwed after having it drop kicked by a show on NOVA last night where I learned everything about space...two times over!

This is what we know about space - and what we know only accounts for about 5% of everything. Where the fuck is the other 95% of....everything??

If you're still feeling larger than life click the link below - should put everything to "scale"

We’re spoiled these days, information is changing faster now than ever before. Imagine how staffed Galileo would be right now if he had all the information at our disposal. He made the biggest finds of his era by looking through a home-made telescope. Dude chilled out on his porch all night gazing up at what people thought was the universe rotating around our planet.

Siiike your face.

Flash forward a couple hundred years later and we got computers, satellites, telescopes in space, all blowing wide open our concept of the universe. You’d think our flying car technology is right around the corner but naw dude. Were too busy fuckin shit up here on Earth - polluiting our only and most consistent personal connection with the stars; the sky. NASA is working at a fraction of what it could be. One half a cent on the dollar is how much NASA receives in government funding – which has purchased everything we've ever tossed up into space. The rest of our countries cash flow goes to a war overseas and patch work here on Earth. Lame.

My boy Neil deGrasse Tyson breaks this all down much further in the video below. Why this man isn't president? I. do. not. know.

This day in history - April 8th (not a good day to fly)

1954 – A Royal Canadian Air Force Canadair Harvard collided with a Trans-Canada Airlines Canadair North Star over Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, killing 37 people.

1968 – BOAC Flight 712 catches fire shortly after take off. As a result of her actions in the accident, Barbara Jane Harrison is awarded a posthumous George Cross, the only GC awarded to a woman in peacetime.

1970 – Bahr el-Baqar incident: Israeli bombers strike an Egyptian school. 46 children are killed.

2004 – U.S. National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice testifies before the 9/11 Commission.

but this was good....

1974 – Hank Aaron hits his 715th career home run, surpassing Babe Ruth's 39-year-old record. The record-breaking shot is hit off of Al Downing of the Los Angeles Dodgers into the left field bullpen at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.

Take a car, bus, train, bike, piggy-back whatever! just say out of the air today. Well, I mean like get air but don't try to force flight because something about today isn't right...

inless you feel like jumping out of a plane with not chute but go ahead

Big green

Now walk it out

As the weather continues to get nicer and nicer you’ll find yourself being outside more. With this comes a tradition only a few have mastered: walking down the street like a bad ass.

People especially in the city are always in a mad dash - needing to be in three different places and needing to be there two minutes ago. Most of these people sprint out into the middle of the street into traffic in a last ditch effort to hail a cab or make it to class within that reasonable grace period.

Buttfuck all that. Getting somewhere isn’t about how much time is spent traveling but rather how good you look getting there. Brisk walkers, fast walkers, wind talkers, cock blockers - whoever you are remember to walk with style and grace.

And if you have a friend name Grace remember to walk with style and grace and Grace.

Completely Inaccurate History - First Man Walks on the Moon

Completely Inaccurate History -Deez Blog Orginal
First Man Walks on the Moon
by That Kid

July 3rd 1962

After the end of the Korean War, President Robert Kennedy elected for his 4th term to the angular office decides we need to beat Cuba to the moon before they can launch their missiles at it putting the USA into a crisis (hence the name Cuban Missile Crisis, but that’s a story for another blog).

The Challenger 1 was manned by three men: Neil Peart, Buzz “Lightyear” Aldrin, and Kevin Bacon (who replaced Gary Sinise when it was discovered that he contracted a sinus infection, or “Sinise” infection which they so aptly named after him).

The mission went horribly awry though when they discovered a meteor hurtling towards Earth threatening to kill all forms of life on the planet. Lucky for the astronauts though there was drilling equipment and a nuclear explosive located in the shuttle for just such an occasion (talk about being prepared). With the help of Admiral Michael Bay and Head Army Mechanic Bruce “The Spruce” Willis, the Challenger 1 crew was able to drill and detonate the bomb just in time for the meteor to split and completely miss The Earth.

After re-blasting off from the meteor, they were able to make up time by activating the flux capacitor and harnessing the power of The Sun to slingshot themselves towards Mars, deciding at the last moment that they were already halfway there, so why not just go for broke. After a one-week stay on Mars and discovering the first forms of intelligent life, they left to finally go to the Moon (although they wouldn’t if Houston weren’t being such bitches about it and let them get their mack on with hot mars sluts, as all us scientists know, the planets crawling with them).

They arrive on the moon and the hatch opens, Astronaut Neil Peart descends on the monochrome terrain and recites the famous line, “One small step for man, one giant…” “ROOOOOOAAAARRRR!!!” the ground beneath Neil’s feet shake, Astronaut Bacon from inside the shuttle looks at his water to see it rippling with each quake. Could it be? Somehow the boomerang maneuver they used to get to Mars sent them back in time, back to the time of MOON DINOSAURS!

Fortunately Astronaut Peart was able to distract the Tyrannamoonas Rex long enough for Astronaut Bacon to start the turbo-boosters and leave that god forsaken planet. Unfortunately the secret of how the astronauts were able come back to present 1962, went to the grave with the last of them, except Kevin Bacon who surprised the world and became an actor on the television series Cheers, and would not tell how, no matter how much we tickled him.

How to celebrate Cagemas

How to Celebrate Cagemas
by That Kid

On this day of June 9th, so selected because of the opening date of the movie Gone in 60 Seconds, we come together to honor and celebrate the greatest actor of all time:

Nicolas Cage.

The holiday begins by the placing of the rock in the middle of the table where dinner will be eaten at, to symbolize Nicolas Cage’s solid position in the acting community as the greatest actor of all time; also it symbolizes the movie The Rock.

This is followed by taking the bunny out of the box, which marks the official beginning of Cagemas.

The day is spent rejoicing over Nicolas Cage’s movies with boisterous and whole-hearted celebration, and the consumption of much alcohol, which is used to raise spirits and truly appreciate the genius range of Nicolas Cage’s acting techniques.

(Live music may be played but songs from soundtracks which Nicolas Cage has acted in are the most appropriate)

Once it is agreed upon that it is time to begin the Cagemas dinner simply by “Knowing”, the host of the Cagemas (usually the owner of the house or whoever it is agreed upon that year) or “Cagemaster” will begin the dinner ritual by reciting his favorite line from a Nicolas Cage movie of his choosing while holding a copy of the Nicolas Cage movie “Next”.

He then passes the copy of the movie to the “Next” person symbolizing it is their turn to recite their favorite line. Once everyone has had a chance to say their favorite line and the copy comes back to the Cagemaster, he performs the “Face-Off” gesture symbolizing we are all one with Nicolas Cage and that the dinner may begin.

Once dinner is over more rejoicing takes place by watching the Nicolas Cage movie of the Cagemaster’s quote from dinner. Cagemas does not end until the Cagemaster “put’s the bunny back in the box”, thereby bringing a close to Cagemas day activities.

(p.s i remember someone telling me this started in Lexington, MA - wtf?)

Rocket Man

As I said the other day, I made the executive decision to skip my Thursday 1pm class to go see Hubble IMAX 3D at the aquarium.

I had been hyping this movie for the past month so it was strange to not have seen it for myself. The roomies and I had tried all week to find a time to go see it together but our schedules and the movie times never matched up.

Biting the bullet I went at it alone. It would be the first time I ever went to the movies by myself but I didn't care - I wasn't going to the movies. I was going to sppaaaacccceeeeeee.

I attended my first class of the morning at 10am, computer animation, because that class is awesome and I'd never skip it. Media critisim and theory on the other hand was getting the big "fuck you" today as it should every Tuesday/Thursday 1pm. Hopping on the inbound train I shimmied on over to government center. Since it was a beautiful day out I figured I had an hour to kill so I walked to the aquarium.

Tucked in my backpack was some precious cargo - extra "rocket fuel" if you know what I mean ;). A couple laps around Christopher Columbus Park and a couple dirty glares directed my way from other park goers I headed over to the IMAX.

It was about 12:45pm and I was 15 minutes early which was good because after my voyage around Chris Combs Park I had no concept of time (only space).

Walked up to the counter and got me my ticket for $7 plus tax with my emerson I.D - helllll yaaaa. The counter lady told me they'd be letting us into the theater in about 5-10 mins and to go wait over by the window.

There were only 2 other people in line: a 5 or 6-year-old boy and his mum. I waited behind them.

Couple mins later a classic looking hipster showed up with his lady friend - more people who would be joining me on this epic journey to space. Little did they know I was already hovering well above our great planet at this time. More and more people trickled into the lobby. With about 7 mins to go I thought I shit myself but then looked up and saw an Indian family had sat down next to me.

At about 12:55pm all hell broke loose. Outside the windows I could see teachers trying to line up students. This could only mean one thing:

Field trip.

Lines on lines filed into the lobby. Droves of students, tourists, and Asians squeezed through the door. It was great. I had beaten the crowds by sheer coincidence and I was going to space with a bunch of middle scholars. I just needed one more thing to happen...

On cue the doors to the theater opened up. I had first dibs on any seat in the house; well, 3rd behind little kid and mother. I knew right where to sit. Where me and DJ sat for 3D Wave. (Row 6-8, seats 18-22. Sit here as long as you’re not going to the movies with me but if you are shotgun seat 19 no blitz)

The middle schools filed in. I sat in the middle. One of the lines of students led by a teacher filed into my row. Sitting next to the teacher during a movie on a field trip felt like the good old days when I'd be the first to get in trouble and be punished by not being able to sit with my friends.

The teacher and me talked a little. They were from Dudley, MA (which reminds me I need to invite Lindsay to be a fan of Deez) and it took them an hour and 35 mins to get here. I could only imagine the amount of truth or dare going down on that bus and how many underage and underdeveloped tits got felt up on the back of the bus. These kids were just as mature as I was in middle school.

The boys were deep throating their sticks of rock candy, the girls were all in a massive collective group, teachers tried endlessly to get everyone to behave.

The theater went dark. I silenced my phone and slipped on my 3D glasses. I was so ready.

You know its going to be a great day when the 3D opening credits are blowing your fucking mind. The movie opens up by showing the astronauts who will be fixing Hubble for the last time - foreplay if you will.

Shows that. Shows Hubble. Shows space. You travel at 175 million light years per minute to get to our NEAREST neighboring galaxy. At one point you travel into a nebula. During this scene the kids sitting behind me said we "were moving so slow". On cue Leo DiCaprio (who narrates) reminds us that we are traveling at 5 million miles per second! I'm not going to go in-depth about the movie because trying to explain in words how incredible this movie is just makes zero sense.

But I will tell you this much.

The last 7 to 10 minutes of this movie may be one of the greatest things I've ever seen..... behind only titsss of course.

Fresh prince

OH! A Joke!

A baseball walks into a bar, and the bartender throws him out.

~~~
A guy walks into a bar with a dog. He claims the dog can talk. "Give me a beer and I'll show you." The bartender slides a beer to him and the man asks the dog, "Fido, what is that above our heads?" The dog says, "Roof!" The irritated bartender says, "That's not talking, he sounds like any other dog." The man says, "OK, how about this - Fido, who was the best baseball player of all time?" The dog says, "Ruth!" The bartender throws the man and the dog out of the bar. Fido says to the man, "Ya think I shouldda said DiMaggio?"
A guy sitting at the bar looks perplexed and asks the bartender "Hey, what's that all about?" The bartender replies, "Don't take it personally, he never says 'Hi' to anyone."
~~~

An amnesiac comes into a bar. He asks, "Do I come here often?"

~ ~ ~

A bear walks into a bar and up to the bartender. "What will you be having" the bartender asks. The bear says "I'll have a Jack..................................................................................and coke".

The bartender looks at the bear and says "Ok, a Jack and Coke - but whats with the big pause?

The bear looks at the bartender and says "I donno, I've had them all my life!"

Prank lyfe

With today being April fools and all (if you couldn't tell from this day in history below) I couldn't help but notice the lack of pranks taking place. Nothing out of the ordinary.

No one running up to me with a bloody knife, no cups of water on the ground, no calling in bomb threats, no white powder on the door knobs, no head-less horseman riding down the street. Where are all the jokers at?

Granted I typically forget about April fools day because I'm too busy being an asshole every other 364 days of the year.

Personally, I made it 1 year and 2 months at Dean without getting written up  - then the dogs got let out and I got cited five times in the next couple of months eventually leading me to tell Dean to suck my dick.

After sucking my dick they asked if I would give the commencement speech and again I told them to suck - but I gave the speech anyway.

Big Game Hunter

I'm walking back from school today over by the Boston Common and in front of me are four little kids running through the groupings of pigeons that typically gather there (I know this because I go to school there and there are always pigeons).

As the kids dash through the pigeons, their parents snap pictures at a rate I thought only Asians could. Eventually the material becomes bland and they call for their kids to follow along into the commons.

But the kids aren’t having it.

They continue to chase the pigeons, jumping and laughing with outstretched arms and a look of sheer joy. The mom grows tired of this and steps up her parenting skills - calling off each individual child by their individual names.

"Hunter! Let's go!" she yells as one of the boys look up. But he still ain't moving, he busy following this one pigeon in particular - a fucked up one with blobs of grey feathers. I mean, if your name is Hunter there is no chance in hell your leaving here without killing something first.

It’s in this kids blood to conquer and kill. If his parents wanted a kid who simply folded and did as they were told they would have named him Bob or Jeff or something weak. Naming your kid Hunter pretty much means this kid is gonna go OJ on just about anything that moves for the rest of his life - including domesticated animals and  dumb pigeons.

This Hunter character has a lot to learn. You have a code to live by - the Hunter's code.

So either kill or change your name to Scott.

-That Kid

Say whaaat?!

What the fuck is that noise?!

I donno but aren't your curious to how that fucking noise got into your head in the first place? Yaaaaaa you do.

In general, the ear consists of three major sections: the outer, middle and inner ear. Sound is collected by the outer ear and funneled down the ear canal (outer ear). The sound vibrations cause movement of the eardrum and the chain of three tiny bones connected to it (middle ear).

The middle ear system serves to intensify the energy of the sound vibrations and delivers them to the cochlea (inner ear). Inside the cochlea are thousands of tiny hair-like cells that connect to fibers of the hearing (acoustic) nerve. Sound vibrations entering the cochlea cause a wave to travel through the fluid-filled organ of hearing.

This wave causes movement of the hair cells which then generate electro-chemical signals which travel through the acoustic nerve to the brain where they are recognized as sounds.

Drinking Champion

      job searching
by  That Kid

Seriously, how is this not a job yet? I meet all the qualifications necessary that I assume this job would entail. After coming off one of the longest binge streaks of my life (St. Patrick’s Day up until last day of spring break on Sunday) I have been constantly drunk and/or partying, as should be expected when your school decides to create the perfect storm by placing your spring break immediately following the start of March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day, and That Kid Approved Holiday, Stoopfest.

For those of you who know how to read context clues, you’ll realize that the lack of That Kid updates has been because I have been trying to gain experience in the field of Drinking Champion, hoping to show up to the slew of job interviews I was sure to see online with a resume that any sensible manager would put up on the walls of their office with a note next to it saying,”This is how you get the fuckin’ job.” To my utter and complete disbelief though, this job technically does not exist.

In the business world, getting paid to party is somehow not a priority of companies that trade on the New York Stock Exchange. Fortunately, this is what makes our country so great. Despite not being able to formally apply for a job as the ultimate partier, there are other “careers” which allow people to get paid to do just that, party their faces off.

(35 allston)

With shows like The Real World, and sociological experiments such as The Jersey Shore (I would never judge a person on their skin color, unless it’s orange), people are getting paid to do exactly what social norms tell us not to do for a living, Gahd Damn party.

Think about it, if you haven’t seen these kids from Jersey Shore on at least one talk show or at least entertainment news segment, you must be living under a pale, non-blown out haircut rock. And what are their skill sets? Basically all they have to do is be content with being themselves. They live by the GTL (Gym, Tan, Laundry) Guido lifestyle, and are not afraid to show it. MTV producers must have needed to change their pants at least three times when the show finally hit, because my guess is unlike other MTV ‘Reality’ shows, they need to maintain minimal hold on telling the cast what to do, and because of this they’re now making a career out of it.

This thought all started when I was flipping through the channels the other day and came across WWE Raw on USA. I hadn’t watched Wrestling since I was a little kid and remembered the day before was Wrestlemania (Thanks Ayii), so I decided to check it out for a little bit. But lo and behold who do I see holding two belts over his shoulder talking into the mic, but The Miz.

For those who don’t remember, Mike Mizanin aka “The Miz”, made his debut on the Real World in 2001 on The Real World: Back to New York. Math check (Dave, grab your calculator) 2010 minus 2001 is 9 years. So in this time from when he made his debut on The Real World, to his stint on the endless spin-off shows (RealWorld:RoadRules Challenge, etc.) he has taken his character alter-ego from the original 2001 Real World when he would get shiiiitfaced called, “The Miz”, and transformed himself into a Wrestlemania winning bad boy.

Unfortunately, Monster.com couldn’t help me in my job search, but from my research it’s shown me just one thing, you better get your tivo’s ready cause the way things are going and how you get famous these days, I’m gonna be blowin’ up on your tv’s very soon. Or at least coming to a bar near you soon.
