1963 – Alcatraz, a federal penitentiary on an island in San Francisco Bay, closes.
It would have sucked to sleep in on this day. Then agian, do you have sleep-in days in prison?? fuck it. Luckily this wasn't the last time the American public was inside Alcatraz thanks to Michael Bay and Tony Hawk pro-skater.
