History Channel has announced a 12-part one-hour series, "America The Story of Us" slated for 2010 (April 25th 9pm), depicting historical events about the birth of America from the Jamestown settlement to the present day.
The series will take you from the moments America was "invented" and the key people, events and locations that form its history. CGI technology will be utilized to show how America looked when the first colonists arrived, from herds of wild buffalo on the plains to a densely tree-covered area now known as Manhattan.
Isn't it great when a television show comes out that reminds us just how fucking awesome at everything we are.
I love it. As if your not going to watch this show with a 30 of bud heavys, your Skynyrd sleeveless, and a U-S-A!!!, U-S-A!!!, U-S-A!!!! chant ready to go at any minute.
