Good for the earth, bad for your ears

sun kiips - We dream of a world with less waste. That's why we've introduced a bag made from plants so it's fully compostable. Every 10 ½ oz. SunChips® package is designed to fully break down in just 14 weeks when placed in a hot, active compost bin or pile. If it takes a little longer, don't worry about it. Mother nature will get to it soon enough.



Truth be told, our new bag sounds a bit different than our previous bags (loud as shit). That's because plant-based materials have different sound properties than the materials used to create our old bags. So although this version is a little bit louder, we hope you'll appreciate the change and the positive environmental impact it will have.



The other day I'm chillin with McHuge. It's getting to be lunch time and before we stoop-it Huge busts out the snack attack meal: Sun Chips.

As he's opening the bag he goes Holy shit this bag is loud - he stops, laughs, then laughs again, I say what, then he shows me that right on the bag it says "this bag is loud as shit now because it's good for the earth"

Good for the earth, bad for stoners who live with their parents and need that late night 4th/5th meal. Maybe one day they'll just make a bag that you can eat as well - it's seemed to work out pretty good for ice cream cones and play-doh!
